Read about preparing for a mock test, using visual lesson aids and keeping a progress record. There’s also a checklist for your driving school website. Use these guides alongside qualified instruction and current official guidance.
A practical mock driving test gives you and your instructor a chance to discuss your driving and what needs more work. It’s different from a theory-test quiz. One mock result can’t guarantee what will happen on test day.
A simple picture can help when a driving explanation is hard to follow. Start with one point the learner is finding difficult, so you have something to look at together and the briefing doesn’t get lost in an overcrowded diagram.
Use your driving lesson progress record to work out what to practise next. Write down the topic and the instructor’s feedback, add the learner’s reflection and agree a goal for the next lesson. A score on its own won’t tell you all of that.
Your driving instructor website should help learners understand your school and ask about lessons. Start with accurate information that’s easy to find on a phone. You can then decide which extra pages or features you need.
