CoreDrive is one platform with separate modules, delivered through standalone apps, websites and the comprehensive CoreDrive app.
These shared rules cover Mock Test, Street Canvas, Progress & Reflections for instructors, Progress & Reflections for learners, Instructor Websites and the comprehensive CoreDrive app, the shared account, main website and functions actually offered. They form part of the supplied service terms where lawfully agreed; for someone without a CoreDrive contract they give safety information without creating one. CoreDrive's duties and mandatory law apply independently. Routine reports and correspondence: hello@coredrive.co.uk. Do not wait for CoreDrive if someone is in immediate danger; contact the appropriate emergency service independently.
Modules and their delivery apps are released as they complete internal testing and launch preparation. Only functions identified as available are offered; describing planned modules does not promise a release date or include unavailable paid features.
This shared pack applies across the CoreDrive platform, including future modules and delivery apps where relevant and supplied for that service. Before a new service or materially different use begins, we explain its actual features, data handling and applicable terms and obtain any required agreement or consent. This scope does not expand existing purchases, permissions or access rights.
Instructor and learner roles stay distinct in standalone and combined apps. No new app, linked account or combined interface permits access to private entries, bypasses blocking or changes the safety rules for the underlying function.
1 Safe device use
The apps are offered for UK instructors, customers and learners only. Apply the actual law and qualification requirements of the relevant UK jurisdiction; a UK-wide audience is not a claim that every feature is suitable in every region.
Do not operate CoreDrive on a device while driving or supervising a learner. Operation includes touching, unlocking, voice commands or intentionally viewing/monitoring its screens, timers, prompts or notifications. Hands-free, mounted, passenger or assistive-device use is no bypass. Before driving/supervision, close or lock screens, disable distracting notifications and, if necessary, put the device safely out of sight/reach.
A driver, learner driver or supervisor using CoreDrive in or beside the vehicle for a journey/driving session must first park safely and lawfully, secure the vehicle and switch off any engine and electric drive system, including between sessions. Traffic queues/lights, automatic stop-start, a ready-to-drive electric vehicle or an engine left running for heat do not qualify. Safe independent use away from the vehicle does not require a parked vehicle. These are CoreDrive's safety conditions, alongside the actual GB or NI law; they are not an exhaustive criminal-law test. A lawful necessary emergency call is separate from operating CoreDrive.
Digital assessment entry, editing and review must wait until the current session and any driving lesson containing it have ended. This applies to its participants, instructors/supervisors and someone acting for them, including assessment records of an earlier activity used during the current one. Marks, faults, results, timings, ratings and instructor feedback are assessment records in any app, emailed/exported report or other device. The session includes parked instruction, coaching, theory, feedback and debrief; a parked break does not end it. Relaying instructions to a passenger/proxy is no workaround. Do not start, arm or leave a session, timer or automatic assessment capture running during restricted activity. Earlier digital assessment use needs current applicable official guidance clearly permitting that exact workflow and the vehicle conditions wherever applicable; these rules grant no such permission. Moving-vehicle capture cannot qualify.
Before a session, when not involved in another current session and meeting applicable parked conditions, you may prepare an unstarted learner/template/route record; this does not permit performance recording or armed capture. Independent lawful office work on an already completed session is allowed if its participant takes no part during their current restricted activity and is not contacted or distracted about it. A learner's own reflection or generic diagram is not automatically an assessment record, but instructor performance feedback within it is; the general vehicle rule still applies.
Lawful paper observations and printed reports are distinct: no use while driving and no compromise of supervision/readiness to intervene. Paper alone is not subject to the digital after-session rule. Faithful later transcription must be labelled; retain/destroy originals under lawful criteria, without an extra indefinite paper period. Label reconstructed times and uncertainty. If missing or lawfully unrecordable information could affect the result, do not present a complete assessment or conclusive pass; safely explain and use only a lawful alternative. Safety restrictions do not remove CoreDrive's agreed-supply or refund duties.
2 Practice information and professional boundaries
Mock Test is a practice aid, not an official DVSA/DVA test, licence, pass guarantee or medical-fitness decision. Follow current jurisdiction/category-specific fault guidance, including serious/dangerous faults and examiner-took-action: assess the underlying fault without automatically adding or substituting an intervention mark. A dangerous fault need not involve intervention. Do not provoke danger, rehearse known official test routes contrary to guidance, or distract real candidates. NI entitlement-date, transition, training/logbook and test requirements are separate; CoreDrive records do not replace official requirements. An unqualified feature must not be sold as suitable for that use.
Street Canvas maps and diagrams can be incomplete or outdated; check actual roads, rules and context and retain attribution. Learning suggestions and wellbeing entries do not diagnose fitness. Stop unsafe driving and obtain appropriate professional/licensing advice; emailing CoreDrive is not a required DVLA/DVA notification. Do not use CoreDrive to trade appointments, evade booking controls, impersonate a learner or supply credentials/reference numbers to unofficial cancellation-search services. Follow the actual official helper rules; CoreDrive does not book tests.
Keep instruction professional and communications relevant. Do not exploit a learner's age, dependency, disability or distress; no sexual solicitation, grooming, coercion or retaliation. Necessary adjustment or safeguarding information uses a protected minimum-data route with actual lawful conditions. An instructor, payer or parent has no automatic right to private entries. Seventeen-year-olds are children; younger people can still seek help or exercise rights without an eligible account.
The 17+ learner-account check does not prevent a younger person seeking protected help or exercising rights. Provide a safe human route to challenge an incorrect age result. A missing store signal is not proof of wrongdoing, and age declarations do not replace child-protection measures.
Mock Test feedback and notes must contain only necessary driving-performance observations. Do not enter health/disability details, diagnoses, medical history or medication, or speculate about a medical cause. Use the separate protected support/adjustment route where needed. Report unexpected sensitive content safely for lawful authorised correction/removal; do not routinely forward it in reports. Actual health-revealing observations still require their real legal classification and safeguards.
3 Prohibited content and conduct
The following are prohibited for all users, without an adult toggle:
- Terrorism content, recruitment or facilitation; child sexual exploitation/abuse, grooming and links facilitating it; other illegal conduct/content including threats, stalking, coercive control, fraud, exploitation and illegal weapons/drug dealings.
- Pornography; promoting, encouraging or instructing suicide, deliberate self-injury or eating disorders/associated behaviours. These are distinct prohibitions.
- Abuse targeting race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or gender reassignment; hatred or bullying; real/realistic serious violence or graphic serious injury involving people/animals, or realistic serious violence/graphic serious injury involving fictional creatures; promoting/instructing serious violence; harmful-substance consumption; and dangerous challenges likely to cause serious injury, including unsafe driving challenges.
- Non-consensual intimate images, including synthetic/manipulated images, threats to share them, sexual harassment or unlawful disclosure of private information.
- Forged results/approvals, impersonation, unauthorised record access, credential sharing that bypasses controls, block evasion, security interference, unrelated unsolicited messages and intellectual-property infringement.
Lawful criticism, prevention, accounts of distress/abuse, asking for help and good-faith complaints are allowed. Context matters; an unproved or mistaken report is not automatically misconduct. Do not collect unnecessary diagnoses, intimate histories, offence allegations, identity copies or passwords in ordinary learning records. Practice observations can still be offence-related data depending on their substance; the responsible controller must establish actual lawful conditions before that workflow is enabled, rather than silently omit a material fault.
Website publication and content
Publish only truthful business, service, availability, price, qualification and offer information. A declaration, ADI number, directory match or supplied template is not independent verification, DVSA endorsement or legal approval. Instructors remain responsible for their lessons, advertised claims, required disclosures and actual learner-facing policies; CoreDrive retains its own platform duties. Do not fabricate passes, dates, credentials, discounts or testimonial scores. The website module’s GB ADI eligibility is separate from other modules’ UK scope.
Use lawful copyright and specific voluntary publication permission for photos, captions, names and testimonials, with appropriate child-capacity/parental-authority assessment and minimum public identity. Lessons, payment or a parent’s involvement is not automatic photo permission. Keep signed source evidence securely where necessary; CoreDrive normally keeps only minimum permission references. Do not use generated/stock people as actual pupils or instructors. Testimonials must be genuine approved selected feedback, not bought/incentivised quotes, invented aggregates or an apparently complete/independent verified review feed. Neither AI nor a humanising tool may rewrite a learner’s speech. Substantive shortening needs approval. Unqualified content stays unpublished.
An identified withdrawn website item must be hidden as soon as practicable and within 24 elapsed hours of first receipt at the monitored instructor/CoreDrive contact, including weekends/holidays. Protectively hide credible urgent privacy/child concerns while irreversible-action checks continue. Apply withdrawal to drafts, public pages, image derivatives, caches, jobs and restored copies; do not promise to erase independently saved public copies. This is additional to earlier applicable erasure, illegal-content or intimate-image duties, not a 24-hour permission to delay urgent action. No login, payment, reason or signed form is needed to request withdrawal.
Use the website’s separate content-report route or company email; anonymous reports are assessed and optional reporter contact remains private. Request no attachments or illegal/intimate imagery, and do not send reports to AI. An allegation or automated label alone is not guilt or authority for a global account ban. Take scoped proportionate human action, give safe reasons and meaningful review, and restore only with current lawful permission and eligibility. Publication, public enquiries and reporting are enabled only after their applicable online-safety and child-access assessments and required safeguards are in place.
4 Private sharing and stopping contact
We must explain audiences before sharing/linking. Private journals, unrelated learners and historical records must not become visible through searches, invitations, transfers or instructor changes without lawful authority. Before relevant interactions are enabled, provide effective in-app content/user reporting and specific-user blocking, including unconnected users, and unlinking where offered. Muting/unlinking alone is not blocking.
A block must stop that person's in-service contact and access to your account/new shared content, including invitations and CoreDrive-delivered report emails across covered services. A person without an account can email us to stop CoreDrive-delivered contact without joining. Explain record consequences/notifications clearly without obstructing an urgent stop or requiring the other person's permission. Historical tuition records lawfully controlled by an instructor follow their own rights/instructions, using protected access; they must not become a contact bypass or expose new entries.
Safe copies, rights requests/responses, complaints/outcomes and legally required communications remain available in both directions through protected minimum-information routes, without restoring routine interaction or revealing reporters unnecessarily. A blocked person need not be contacted directly; an existing duty to answer still applies, without creating a new one. Blocking/unlinking does not itself delete the account, cancel another customer's contract or end unrelated paid access. We cannot prevent independent outside contact, but assess attempted evasion. Privacy and terms protect records and paid-supply remedies.
5 Reporting and complaints
Use the offered in-service report route or hello@coredrive.co.uk, or another legally effective/necessary accessible route. No account, subscription, instructor-first approach, special subject line or legal wording is required. Users, affected people, representatives and responsible adults may report; anonymous information is assessed. If safe, give the service/location/reference, what happened, urgency and a safe reply route. Do not download, forward or upload illegal or intimate imagery as proof. We assess held content through lawful controlled access and seek only necessary clarification.
You may complain about content, child protection, reporting, privacy/expression, removal/restrictions, incorrect age assessment, automated action or proactive technology used outside the supplied terms. We acknowledge safely, assess urgency, investigate relevant evidence/context, take appropriate action, give appropriate updates and a reasoned outcome where lawful/safe, and offer prompt meaningful review/correction. Serious conflict involving the sole decision-maker requires suitable independent input; an automated label or unsupported allegation is not guilt. Ordinary acknowledgement targets in the terms never postpone faster duties. We do not routinely read every private record or promise an emergency service or universal detection.
Moje Solutions Ltd may handle reports, support and protective action on CoreDrive’s behalf under these rules. CoreDrive remains accountable for decisions and response deadlines. Serious complaints about those handling a case require the protected conflict-review arrangements described above.
Restrictions and permanent endings use only the terms' separate lawful grounds, least restrictive scope, correction/review and refund protections. We restore unjustified restrictions safely and correct their effects. Necessary privacy/safety limits on disclosure must be assessed and explained where lawful, without inventing an indefinite hold. You may seek appropriate local safeguarding, police, professional-regulator, ICO, Ofcom or court help without exhausting our process; Ofcom does not decide individual complaints for you.
6 Intimate images and statutory safety action
Where applicable, we use proportionate design measures to prevent encounters with priority illegal content and mitigate relevant offence/harm risks, minimise how long priority illegal content remains, and swiftly take down any illegal content once alerted or otherwise aware. That response is independent of intimate-image qualification, reporting and complaint clocks, with lawful assessment and privacy/expression safeguards.
For services subject to the relevant duties, a qualifying intimate-image report identifies the content, says you are its subject or acting for them, declares good faith/truth to your best knowledge and belief, supplies reporter contact details and any further requirement actually imposed by regulations. A safe reply route is encouraged but is not an extra qualification test. First qualifying receipt through a provided/legally effective route counts even unread; genuinely missing statutory elements count when first supplied, without artificial completion dates.
We take qualifying reported and identified same/substantially-same content down as soon as reasonably practicable, within 48 hours of that receipt, unless we consider it not intimate-image content or the reporter not its subject/representative. Checks, weekends, forwarding and appeals do not pause or restart that clock. Unfinished checks alone are not an exception: absent a concluded applicable exception, take down by the deadline. Copies present in the original period retain it; later-appearing matching content is removed as soon as reasonably practicable once identified, without a new 48-hour allowance. Assess each copy's context; an earlier exception does not automatically cover another uploader/consent position. A fresh qualifying report has its own limit subject to any earlier deadline; correcting an exception starts no fresh grace period. Other illegal-content/child-protection duties continue, including for anonymous/non-qualifying reports. We expedite relevant complaints from a qualifying reporter about that content and our handling, without delaying takedown or removing lawful uploader review/privacy/expression safeguards.
Where applicable, CoreDrive fulfils its own statutory CSEA reporting and lawful preservation duties through the competent authority's actual route; that phase is distinct from instructed tuition processing. It is not an unrestricted permission to copy illegal imagery, inform an implicated person or retain a whole account indefinitely. Necessary protected action cannot wait for routine office hours or paperwork.
